Intravenous infusions

Intravenous therapy is the infusion of liquid substances into a vein. The selection of substances suitable for infusion include vitamins, minerals and amino acids diluted in sterile water or saline solution.
The infusion delivers these nutrients directly into the blood stream, by passing the stomach, and allowing a direct delivery of high potency nutrients to cells throughout the body.
Most people who have a balanced diet, get the required nutrients for day-to-day function. There are, however, situations, where a 'boost' is needed for a rapid effect for well being, anti-ageing, stress, weightloss or a general 'pick-me-up' and this is where this form of therapy may be beneficial.
